We are inviting you to visit our wonderful synagogue Congregation Ohab Zedek. We're on the Upper West Side. West 95th Street to be exact.
So what is a FAN of OZ? - a Friend or Neighbor of Ohab Zedek. We hope that's you. We've tailored an event to acquaint you with our shul.
A Special DINE & DISCOVER SHABBAT event.
OZ invites all Jews- the curious, the skeptical, even those with no background, to join us for a Special Friday Night Shabbat event in a relaxed and friendly environment, December 8th at 7 pm.
For those who bring in Shabbat at Sunset (4:20pm) and finish davening and schmoozing at 5:30 or so, we have a special activity planned: a pre-Chanukah Trivia contest from 6 pm to 7 pm. This activity is open to all.
It will be a Shabbat dinner for singles, couples and families, with great kosher cuisine, and will include explanations, stories, songs and Q&A about this special day of the week. We'll even have a short puppet show. OZ Members will also be in attendance giving you a chance to get "a taste" of the community.
We have something happening here every day of the week!
It will be a great night with a lot of take-aways for you.
