Mission of Chai4ever:
Chai4ever helps to mitigate the terrifying impact of parental illness on school aged children. Chai4ever takes a holistic stance to setting these families on a path towards healing and thriving. The social work team at Chai4ever provides tailored assistance to each family to help them maintain a stable routine including the arrangement of meals, housekeeping assistance, transportation to medical appointments, insurance advocacy, school collaboration, homework helpers, and counseling. Chai4ever also has an overnight travel camp that many of these children attend - the common denominator among all of them is that they have sick parents. Camp is a place where they can truly be kids and escape the burden of seeing their moms or dads suffering.
